New Live accounts get 1 month of free live gold (up to 3 times on new consoles), therefore 48 hour codes may be used unlimited times, respectively once every two days, on silver accounts, after the previous trial has expired. It will not prolong your gold membership, and the code can only be redeemed on a silver account. You will get an error when redeeming on a gold account. Many 48 hour trials are region restricted (to USA, unless stated otherwise), so you'll need an american account to use them. Some features are not included in the trial, like early demos and deal of the week bargains.

Wow calm down man; not to burst your bubble but I'll just type everything on the back of the trial:To activate your xbox live gold 48-hour trial:
a.Connect Xbox 360 to a broadband connection
b.In the dashboard, select My Xbox, Sign-In, Create Profile
and then follow the on-screen instructions to create a new account.
c. Select your profile in My Xbox, select Join Xbox Live.
d.Follow the easy on-screen instructions, redeem your code and enjoy!

If you decide to check on the website listed on the back of the trial you'll find that the 48-hour trial is one use only and can only be used of you only just got Xbox LIVE. NOT if you had Gold and now have silver. It's called a trial because your trying out xbox live Gold. It's hardly a trial if you've had Xbox live Gold prior to using the code. How dare you say I lied and have no idea about what I'm posting. Everything you've posted has turned out to be false; like "not being able to access deal of the week bargains" even though it is specified that you will be able to access exclusive discounts. You make it seem like I'm trying to scam, surely if I'm asking people to stray away from bidding because they've already had xbox live Gold, then I don't want them to be disappointed when the code doesn't work. I'm not sure if your trials are different in the states, but this is a European trial. If your still not satisfied, give me your Email address and I'll send you a scan of the trial so you can see for yourself.

I am aware you can get a free month of Xbox live Gold when you sign up to Xbox live. When this FREE month of LIVE runs out, you may redeem the code. However only one 48 hour trial can be used and it will not work if you have run out of Xbox live that you PAID for.

So just to clear the air:

Step a. Ok so you've made your xbox live account and hooray! You get a free month of Gold.
b. Boooooo! Your free month has finished. Your account becomes a silver membership account.
c.But you can use a 48 hour trial.
d. Your 48 hour trial runs out.
e. HERE'S the bit I made unclear: If you have another 48 hour trial, you can use that. However if you do not, you're gonna have to stick to silver (or you could just buy a years or 3 month subscription and continue enjoying Gold).
f. If in step e you used a 48 hour trial and it has run out; you can use another one and another and so on and so forth. However if you bought a 3 month or years subscription and that has run out, you cannot use another 48 hour trial unless your willing to create a new Gamertag but even that will only work 3 times as said by vrdTheDon.

@vrdTheDon; I'm sorry if you don't like the phrasing of "It only works for new xbox live Gold accounts" just don't complain to me, complain to the editors at Microsoft.

Lol, will do matey. To be honest, I signed up for listia because I bought mass effect 2 pre-owned and wanted a cerberus network code without having to dish out 15 quid. Thankfully I found someone auctioning it on this site so I joined and bid. I then set up this auction to squeeze in a ew more credits to secure the code but my cousin bought the game, and he doesn't have xbl so he gave it to me. So this auction will inevitably become obsolete.
