The listing, InuYasha, Volume 10: Scars of Battle (2002) has ended.
Contains Episodes 28-30 During a routine demon-slaying, Miroku wanders away from the others in pursuit of a young woman. (Predictably, she turns out to be a giant mantris-demon in disguise.) Although the enemy is dispatched easily enough by means of Miroku’s Wind Tunnel, as it vanishes into the void of Miroku’s hand, its claw damages the edge and now Miroku must return to the monk who helped read him, in hopes that the damage can be repaired before the wound grows and eventually swallows him whole. Later, the group reaches a village whose inhabitants have been slain by the weapon of a Demon-Slayer. Kohaku, the younger brother of Sango who died in Naraku’s castle, appears to have been involved. Sango chases him, only to find herself before Naraku himself. Told that it was he who brought Kohaku back to life (using a shard of the Sacred Jewel, no less), Sango is ordered by Naraku to steal Tetsusaiga from InuYasha…else Kohaku die a second time.
