The listing, 1920 Buffalo Nickel! has ended.
This is a 1920 buffalo nickel with great detail still! Some info \/
The Indian Head Nickel (also referred to as the Buffalo nickel) was minted by the U.S. Mint from 1913 to 1938, however no nickels were minted in 1922, 1932 and 1933. Designed by James Earle Fraser, the obverse design portrays a male Native American which is a composite of three chiefs who had posed for Fraser years earlier. The reverse depicts an American bison with the inscriptions “United States of America” and “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of Many, One) placed over the buffalo, and the denomination “five cents” below.
