This is a vintage compact / pressed powder case from local estate sale. Empty, no powder inside. Square shaped. Gold tone metal with checkers pattern on the lid. Mirror inside the lid. 2 pieces of peach color velvet and cream color fine mesh (it should be covering powder) are inside. Measures: 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 1/2". OK vintage condition. Shows some wear mostly on the lid, the mirror is foggy. The velvet pieces and mesh are in excellent condition.The item is described to the best of my knowledge and ability.
