So, no battery, at all? If I was at a Sports Event, like one of my kid's Lacrosse Games, how long will this hold a charge? And also, when you use the "zoom" feature, are the Videos still clear or not as clear. Does it zoom in fairly well across a Field? Thanks F&W

The camcorder has a built in battery that you just plug into the wall. The battery lasts quite a long time. I have added 1.5-2 hrs of video easily. I t also has a slot for a mini SD card, so you can have even more storage. Its a cool little camcorder and the video quality can be adjusted from basic e-mail to fine HD quality. Zoom in and out is pretty good, but like with almost all camcorders they do tend to get grainy all the way out.
