the legs will extend 60 inches, we have a nikon dslr d3100 that we bought it for. It says digital series all purpose tripod, for digital, film and video cameras, and camcorders, so yes, I would say yes a I bought it to go with my Nikon.

this is a full size tripod with two levels for making sure you get the best shot. Three way pan head, u shape three section legs and locking levelers, heavy duty rubber feet, quick release plate, dual bubble levels, retractable spike tips, comes with it's own carrying case. This is not a mini tripod. still in plastic, inside it's carrying case, never used. still pretty much new. Dynex brand....if anyone can think of anything else, please ask me and I will find out! =)
