britannyawyatt: Yes, it works perfectly. The only reason I am getting rid of it is that someone gave me a Blu-Ray player.

just one quick question does it come with the A/V Cables to hook it up

Different people will need different cables depending on how they want to hook it up, so it does not come with any cables except for the optical and component cables that I mentioned I would throw in. If there is a particular cable you need, I could check to see if I have an extra one and, if so, would throw that in also. What kind of cable(s) do you need? Thanks.

I meant to say that the system does not include speakers. It is a DVD/CD player only. You would need to get a sek of speakers. I think most people have a receiver, and they run all of their components through the receiver and then hook the speakers up to the receiver. Thanks.

sallygarrity56: I made a mistake. My apologies. This is my first listing, and at first I was going to have the buyer pay for the shipping. So I wrote the ad to mention PayPal. I then read on here it's better to offer free shipping, so that's what I did. PayPal will not be needed. Thanks for pointing that out

It came with a house that I bought in April 2011. Unfortunately, I don't know how long the previous owner had the Sony.

Yeah I love the Sony player. Never had a single problem with it. Just upgraded to a Blu-Ray. If I had room, I would have kept the Sony to play CDs on since it has the 5-disc feature and my Blu-Ray only holds 1 disc. I'm sorry to hear yours was stolen.

Unfortunately, it does not have a remote. However, I think they are available on the Internet for not much money.
