I think the is sterling,not sure, but it is the prettiest one I have seen here, it is not tibetan or pewter, it has 7 glistening studded gem stones, shows a lot of colors in the light.I attached it to a silver toned lobster clasp but you can put it on a necklace as well.These pictures just do not show the shininess of this piece, It is silver toned not gold toned, just the lighting in the room makes it look the way it does, please look at all of the detailed pics so you can see.
