Unfortunately I had already opened mine when he gave me the other one and they come in those totally sealed sturdy plastic cases that you have to cut apart to open.

Great item and it works the only thing is it only works up to 20 feet so my neighbors dog still drives me nuts. Good auction.

You can place it on the fence by your neighbor - Since it uses batteries. And if it's raining, put a plastic bag over it! It has a holder with holes to attach it to a wall, post, etc. You can remove it from the holder whenever you want. And, you could run wire through the holes to attach it to a wire fence or wrap onto a tree nearby. Lots of options.
