I sold something very similar to this once. It was a pony as well but bigger and much more fragile. Mine made it by wrapping it up in tissues and stuffing the envelope with them. Hope it helps!

You could put it in a bubble mailer with lots of bubblewrap or soft material to cushion it won't get damaged during shipping.
