Description

The listing, Think housewarming gift! Spider Plant a.k.a. Airplane Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) Live Starter has ended.

Due to customs regulations, live plants are not supposed to be shipped across U.S. borders. Winner will receive one (1) variegated (green with white central stripe) spider plant baby, **bare root. These are one of the first plants most beginners try. They're so popular because they are easy to grow, have very few problems. They are very good at taking pollutants out of indoor air and adding oxygen.
I will also include, as a bonus, two (2) Jobe's Plant Food Spikes with a copy of the directions for use.
Thanks for looking.

SHIPPING
Free USA Shipping - will include delivery confirmation
Shipping date will depend on weather conditions for your area. It is preferred to ship live plants at temperatures of 50 degrees or above. I try my best to carefully pack your item(s) so that it will arrive safely at your specified destination.
Thank you.

CONTACT ME
I may be reached preferably though Listia messaging. You may go to my store website by googling HighDesertSmokeShop, and check it out. I also list cool things on eBay under the seller name HighDesertSmoke

RECYCLE
I try my best to reuse all my boxes, bags, and fillers. Please try to do the same. Fact: Each ton (2000 lbs) of recycled paper we produce can save 17 trees, 380 gallons of oil, three cubic yards of landfill space, 4000 kilowatts of energy, and 7000 gallons of water. This represents a 64% energy savings, a 58% water savings, and 60 pounds less of air pollution!

**Bare Root means it will not include any dirt or peat. It will be wrapped in wet paper towel and bagged in plastic to hold moisture until it's arrival. Must be planted right away after receipt.

I decided to do a short 3-day auction for one single plant for those who don't wish to wait for my other listing: http://www.listia.com/auction/1413727

Hey, everybody! I love that Listia offers a "like" button for auctions. I gladly "like" auctions, because it shares it with all of my friends. The more exposure we get here on Listia, the more people that sign up. The more people selling and buying, the more cool stuff for us to get our hands on for just the cost of credits and occassional shipping cost. Not a bad plan! Please "like" the auctions that you like, so we get more Listians! Thanks!

Can I put this into some of those magic orbeez balls? Don't laugh at this question, I know nothing about plants! I got the orbeez off of here but I have nothing to do w/ them.

Yes you can. They should grow well as long as it's watered. It would have to be transplanted eventually though, because spider plants can grow quite large.
Those magic orbeez balls would also be great for lucky bamboo plants, which don't grow too fast or too big at all. I wish I had some.

I have one of those lucky bamboo plants that someone left here when they moved out. It's like 3 feet tall! Would I be able to get a starter off of it for the orbeez? Thanks for the info!

You're welcome! I fanned you, too. *^_^* It's cool to be able to pair up auctions from separate sellers and come out with a great deal. I'm also very true to my word, when it comes to recycling and re-using. My mail lady collects used bubble mailers and packing material for me all the time.
