Is this what you were talking about that I needed to use for the boat?

Yes, but since you're going stereo shopping, I'm sure you won't need it. I'm jealous...satellite stereo system on a boat...what more does a person need after that?...LOL!!!

I believe it depends on the audio port/jack you have on the stereo. I don't know how old your boat or the stereo is. Just let me know if you don't need it and maybe you can cancel your bid? Or if no one wants I'll just send it to you if you need it. I hope it all works out...I'm excited for you!!!

Well you ask what else does a person need? FISH would be nice. We have a lot to consider with this stereo purchase, but I think that cable you have will come in handy anyway since I can use it to hook up my ipod. We bought the boat mid year 2004, and the stereo is as old, thats why we are replacing it, we dont get any reception offshore, and well trying to listen to a CD when your bouncing around doesn't work too well. The picture I use as my profile picture is our boat. Its a 22' Pro-line center console. Thanks, I already have my bid in and will win just like anyone else would have to. Wish me luck!

You're boat is a beauty...now if you can get some music while waiting for those stubborn fish to taste some hook. And, eventhough it's called "Here2Anywhere", you do know that there is an additional antenna jack on the back of the sirius unit incase you need it. Anyway, thanks for bidding and good luck!!

I did not know that, thanks. But quite honestly, we will be hiring someone to install both the stereo and the hook ups for the Sirius. We dont want to keep it on the boat 24/7, so it will have to be installed to where we can just plug it in and connect it. That way it will get less exposure to the elements.
The Sirius is awesome though. We were playing with it the other night outside. I was able to download a user manual and even a station guide. Seems the internal light bulb may be burning out, so Im going to bring it somewhere and have it looked at. All in all, its may favorite win so far on this site. Thanks again. Now if I can just figure out what kind of music will draw in the fish, we'll be all set. lol

Are you sure it's the light inside? I didn't notice any problem with that or any of the display. Do you think I may have packed it too tightly with that wrap? Let me know what you find out. If necessary, I am willing to work something out with you...perhaps give you a free item or return some credits. Is that even possible? I'm so glad I met you on this site...your very easy-going, fair, and understanding. Oh, and by the way, I hear that blues music induces a drunken hungry feeling in fish!!!!!

Im not sure, I'll have to play with it again, but last night when we had it out, it seemed like the left side was very dim and if I lightly pressed on the top of the unit it would get bright again. Im sure its no big deal, and may even be a loose bulb. No reason for upset.
I too am happy to have met you. I only treat people the way Id like to be treated. And Im going to talk to my husband about your blues theory. LOL, if I land a good fish I'll have to pack some fillets in dry ice and ship them to you.

I think this will be the only thing I'll need to complete the installation of the new stereo. You dont know anyone that knows how to install boat stereo's, do you?
