Description

The listing, Artist endorsed Guitar Pick - Judas Priest has ended.

I bought a bunch of random artist guitar picks years ago.
They have never been used and were stored in a sealed package. Let's just call them "Like New" and probably vintage. Never struck a guitar string!
This one is standard nylon -.73mm thick guitar pick. Color: orange/red with black graphics.
The graphics were designed for Judas Priest and stamped with a crazy signature. Maybe many.
NOTE: these are NOT one of a kind unique autograph's, but were made to the artist's spec's and usually what they actually used on stage. The signatures are
copies of the artist's actual signature.
Oh yeah, the quarters shown are there for size reference only and are not included! LOL
Happy Bidding.

Can anyone tell me whose signatures these are?

I'd have to guess this is Glenn Tipton's signature.

Were these guitar picks from a merchandise table or were these actually their picks?

They were store bought from a music store.....as an "Artist pack" of miscellaneous picks.... I'd say late 80's to mid 90's. From what I know of these, guitar players often endorse gear they use (like picks) and are then given 1000's of them for free. They use them onstage and often toss a bunch out to the audience. In the mean time, the manufactures use a popular artist's name to generate sales. These particular picks were most likely never used onstage, but the artist absolutely had full control of the design, logo's, thickness, materials and most added their signature's to be reproduced on the picks. So, I guess the answer is both "yes" and "no". The artist never jammed with the picks I'm offering here, but they did design them, and used this design onstage.
These are "Like New", never used picks as described in the auction.

Yeah, I also have a bunch of picks that were actually used at concerts by some of my favorite guitarist's. These are treasures of mine that I will probably never part with. To me, they hold the sweat, DNA, and a little Mojo of the player. I get inspired just using these picks knowing they were a small part of that day's history.
I know that the "sound" is all in the fingers, but picking technique is a big part of it as well.

LOL...
Is your son a Judas Priest fan?
Just kidding......
My 3 year old grandson pushes every button he can.
Drives me crazy sometimes, but he is a wizard on a smartphone!
I'm somewhat of a newbie here, but I will see what I can do to cancel your bid. You might even be able to do it yourself.

Trying to cancel your bids now.
I don't see an obvious way to do so, but I'll figure it out.
Maybe someone more experienced can chime in for advice?

I appreciate the help deleting the bid. hopefully they will respond. I am currently working so hard for me to stop and email them

Another bidder "heatherishler" was also bidding and was just slightly overbid by you. I don't want to break any Listia rules here, but If that person outbids you (to help us both out!) I will gladly toss in another pick or two into the winners delivery. Actually, I can toss in 5 new blue D'Addario "medium heavy" picks.
I am still "submitting a request" to Listia, asking them to retract your last bid. Not sure if they can respond in time though.
I will e-mail you a copy of the request, just to let you know that it's not BS.

You should maybe ask your son how high he set the max bid!
Again, I hope I'm not breaking any Listia rules here.....
I'm just trying to get you out of this situation.
If he set it outrageously high.... We may be stuck.
It's either that, or I cancel the auction completely!

Other Listian's are more than welcomed to give advise here. Please.
I'm sure this is not the first time something like this has happened.
All suggestions and comments will be appreciated. Thanks.

We have 11 hours to see if Listia moderators can fix this.
I'll wait for 10 hours..... then cancel..... and re-list.
I just hope I don't need to though.....
have my eye on something, and the points it "was" at would have came in handy.

Stephen,
I cannot cancel the auction.....
At least I have not found a way to do this through Listia....
And I've searched everywhere in the support area.
If the moderators cannot retract your bid for you, It appears you might win the auction unless you are overbid.
There is nothing more that I can do for you at this point.
{at least nothing that I am aware of)
You might try to open a "dispute", but as far as I can tell by reading through all of the rules, the bid is "binding".
Sorry, I've tried everything possible to help you.
Regards,
Tony

BTW Metal666.....if you're an axe slinger, I'll toss a few more picks in like I promised "heatherishler" earlier. Let me know.
That goes for anyone who wins this one.
