One Very Rare Iron Ore Multi Cube from PA. Cubes found in rocks from PA. Very interesting specimens. This is one of the larger cubes. Winner must listia verified address before bidding. Shipping fee to be paid by paypal only no other form of payment will be accepted. I can combind shipping multipule auctions as long as bidder let's me know before auctions end. Once I send you a shipped date it will be to late and then the bidder will have to pay a separate shipping fee. This is Limonite which commonly forms as a pseudomorph over other minerals, especially Pyrite, Marcasite and Siderite. These pseudomorphs are very identifiable by their partial rusting look and yellow staining.
What you have here happens to be a cubed "pyrite after limonite" - a psuedomorph.

Thanks for the info. When I searched iron ore cubes my search showed what I had. So does that mean that limonite is a type of iron ore? And does limonite after pyrite mean that it was pyrite and changed to limonite? Can garnets change to limonite also?
