This is a stamp booklet issued by the postal service to use towards the purchase of United States Defense Savings Bonds.There are some 10 cent stamps inside.Very fragile and starting to come apart. Is missing the back page. These books when filled, would allow you to redeem them for a US defense savings bond.

Questions & Comments

This is just like the ones I bought once a week in grammar school, only the First ones I bought had stamps that had the word WAR stamps on them. These are later.

interesting to know.On one edge of the stamp it says United States & on the other it says War Savings. 1942 at top of stamp. Each are 10 cents.
