The listing, Foxglove - Excelsior Mix x 12+ seeds has ended.
Biennial - Perennial
Often described as being "stately" when in bloom. Foxgloves produce enormous spires of large, dangling bells. Plants form a low rosette, hairy leaves in the first year, bursting into flower the second spring, then setting seed and usually dying.
They perform best in a rich, moist soil. Allow the plants to produce seed and they will often self-sow for future generations.
Nice mix of flower colors for early season bloom. Species of speckeled, shapely blooms flower in shades of pale pink, pink, coral/apricot, purple, pale yellow, violet/lavender, white/near white in early summer of the second season after seed is sown. They grow well in partial shade or sun.
Direct sow outdoors in fall, or indoors before last frost.
