OK folks..... It's time to reveal the winning pick. Thanks to all who commented as well as all who bid.

The collectible pick you were looking for was commissioned by Musicians Friend some years back as a limited, once in a lifetime pick. The pick itself is a mother of pearl looking celluloid sporting the Musicians Friend clef logo.

CONGRATS to cheryl749602 for picking the correct...... pick!

I want to say the rarest is one of those celluloid picks, or if one of them is actually tortoiseshell. The celluloid mimics the pattern of tortoiseshell and that's why I'm guessing it's one of those. I also know there's actually picks out there now I think that go under "New Tortis." Older guitar players were ***** when they banned the sale of tortoiseshell because they swore by them due to their sound. And I believe that's actually where Dunlop got the name for Tortex. If it's not one of those, then I've no clue. Just a random guess. :)

Hey! A great, spirited entry.... I LOVE IT!
I'll help everyone out by saying there are no genuine tortoise picks in this lot. I have 3 and I'm hanging on to them! Yep.... I'm one of those "older guitar players". ~:>)

Come on folks..... get your 2-cents worth in!! Lord willing.. the winner will be revealed within the last 12 hours of the auction.

I was also thinking it might be the white Fender pick, but I've also never seen the Fender triangles. I'm not very educated in picks though, and I'm just starting a collection of picks as I'm beginning to play bass again after neglecting it for two years.
