Im almost positive this is a turquoise rock I found in a container of jewelry I purchased at a thrift store.

this is a really nice solid piece of turquoise, nice color too. looks like it could be a cerrillos green to me. with so much fake turquoise out there you really have to know what turquoise is supposed to look like. what is sad is the new fake stuff from overseas hailed as real turquoise confuses people as to what real turquoise is and looks like. Most of which I have seen on here is fake stuff, and very few real pieces like yours does show up, thankfully yours is real. I am bidding and hopefully winning this nice piece!!!!!

Thank you I thought It was real and I think it is beautiful I wanted to share with someone who knows more about it. I live in texas and we have a lot of Indian territory so im sure its from around here.
