Description
The listing, 2- Weeping Willow cuttings (Salix babylonica) has ended.
You are bidding on two 6 – 8 inch unrooted cuttings for Weeping Willow. Branches cascade down, often touching the ground. The cuttings are very easy to root and will root indoors in a container of water in about 2 weeks. Once rooted, cuttings can be planted directly in the garden if weather is favorable, or planted in a container and transplanted outdoors after all danger of freezing weather is past. Additional propagation instructions and methods can easily be found online.
Weeping Willow is an extremely ornamental landscape plant. It is often planted near water but this is not necessary. It will grow in almost any location but can get quite large. When small, it may require staking during the first few years of growth to encourage an upright habit. This is a great, easy to grow plant.
