Its a like a puzzle ring, back in the old days the husband would be the only one who knew how to put it together so he'd put it on his wifes finger and if she ever took it off the ring would "fall apart". Then he would know if she was up to no good. Very pretty.

it is actually called a rolling band or rolo ring or aka Russian wedding ring. I had one when i was a little girl and lost it. I seen one on here not that long ago and tried to win it. unfortunately I didn't so I am trying to win this one. Although, I looked them up online and they are everywhere even walmart carries them in stainless. So If everyone is going to fight me for this, I will just order my own. But it is a rolling band, I had one over 20 years ago.
