Description

The listing, Cloisonne' Bracelet pieces(Copper) has ended.

This auction is for copper sections to make cloisonne bracelets. 3 of the pieces are already done(I'm just including them if you want to use them.I got them in a flea market , so not all of the links are here to make two bracelets, but I am sure you can get more from a craft supply place or make your own with copper stock and nippers and pliers. I just figured these can sit in my house for another hundred yrs. or maybe one of you Listian's would like them! (You need access to a kiln and the proper glaze powders to finish these) . Shipping is free. TY for looking, Fan me , and I'll try to fa you back! (I've reached my limit! I need fans!! Lol!). the 499 start bid just covers the cost of my stamps.

Really hope to get these. I may finish them differently than by using a kiln if possible. Can't you just glue things to the bare copper? If not, I do know an art teacher in town that might let me borrow the kiln.

Yes, you can solder to copper with a soldering iron. Not sure what else you can do but you can shine the copper smooth then use and engraver and inks, then I'd coat it with a clear polyurethane or something that can be used on copper. You can also etch and patina with various things, I discovered by accident that blue stuff used for Fish (Ick Away) , salt and other things will "Corrode" and color copper! Look online for ideas on Copper crafts. I'm sure there are tons! I know one lady years ago did gorgeous colored glass (like those flat marbles from the dollar store) baked then onto the copper in a kiln with some type of crushed gold ! Just beautiful! Your teacher might know, or maybe she can fire them while firing other things. Good luck!
I don't think regular glue would work or plumbers would use glue. there are some 2 part epoxies you could use, but ask at the hardware store and see what you can epoxy to them.
