Wickedwebwoman is incorrect. This phone can be ported, but only to one carrier. The carrier is pageplus mobile.

Thank you for that info. I think to be on the safe side if I were to buy a phone like this instead of asking the person auctioning it off, who can say whatever they want if you think about it, I would give my own carrier a call and ask them about it just to be sure. I personally do not know but I'm inclined to believe that verizon phones only work on verizon.

ty. my grown kids keep tabs on me too. they call me a cougar. when i post on fb my younger friends, they are just jealous of me having fun. l am addicted to coffee shops and band music. i write songs too! Cougar Mama! Sometimes the band fb me and
ask me to post the pictures or videos i took, then my daughter makes comments about my age. Young at heart.

A clean ESN means did you leave Verizon with unpaid bills? If there are bills due on this phone it will not activate if there is a balance due.

I posted that it has a clean ESN. I called my verizon and they told me that if you report it stolen or lost it will not be clean. But as I stated, I switched to an iphone at my last upgrade. The android is just not needed anymore and has only been used very gently. I'm not one to play with my phone all day. I just have one because apparently my "grown" kids seem to have a need to know where I'm at at all times LOL

As a Verizon customer for 14 years, you Cannot port Any of their phones to another carrier, and the smartphones Do have a SIM card, but some are Not removable. And if it is a contract phone, it Cannot be "turned into a Prepaid". I hope I have helped you with some of these repetitive questions! Will be F&W. :)

you can ask the Verizon people. if you don't make sure it isn't clean whoever gets it can't use it unless it has a clean ESN

hello did you check on that ESN? you can probably take it to the Verizon store and they can tell you but without it having a clean ESN it would be useless to whoever gets it. at least that is my understanding. thank you and I don't mean to be derogatory in any way.

Very Nice auction LOVE your attitude and how you VERY CLEARLY state all of the info and so forth and yet I guess some people just either can't read or can't comprehend when you state 3 times that it can not be transferred to another carrier and so forth.... sorry just scratch my head sometimes when I read comments
