Watching for you!

My dad was just diagnosed with diabetes. Do you have any dessert recipes that would be good for him but still taste great enough for the rest of us? He so far hasn't changed his eating at all. It doesn't help that my mom and hubby who do the cooking (we're an intergenerational household) only know how to cook "bad" foods! Thanks for any advice/auctions that might help! :-)
