can any of these be used on the face? my mother bought me some amazing soap from a lady at a craft show, unfortunately she didn't have a link or number to call when you needed more on her packaging. in almost out and looking for some just like it.

the soap she sold my mother had some kind of milk in it (ithink) or oil.. it took all my make up off including mascara and eyeliner with no problem. and left my skin feeling more moisturizer than any other face wash I've used (I have dry dry skin)

so please let me know :)

My soaps are all safe for any body part :) That being said, people can be sensitive to all kinds of things; herbs, certain oils, dairy, fragrances, so always test before going soapin crazy! I have worked on my recipe for years to create the most gentle and cleansing soap I possibly can but soap is soap and by nature, it is created to clean and wash off. I do not add moisturizer but add lots of things designed to leave a little pampering behind :)

For you, I would suggest the Oranges and Oats. It uses real orange essential oil which cleans well, and oatmeal to add gentle exfoliation and it's soothing to the skin. I also use greek yogurt, shea butter, and honey, all great for the skin. My OMHY (Oatmeal Milk and Honey) is really nice as well with oatmeal, coconut milk, honey, and yogurt. It is a fragrance oil soap, not essential oil.

My skin is sensitive (why I got in to this) and my soaps are wonderful on my skin. If you are especially sensitive, I would suggest you try a cold processed soap that is unscented or bastille/castille type. I don't have any of those listed right now. Hope this helps!

Hi, I have been interested in wanting to start making my own homemade soaps for sometime now. I am a single mother of a beautiful 7 year old lil girl. Unfortunately I am unable to afford the materials needed to start making homemade soap at this time. Would you happen to have any old molds, crackpots or hand blenders your not usingng and would maybe want to auction them? I have been trying to build up my credits just for soapmaking materials. If you have any other material I did not mention and willing to auction, please share, I am also now following you, =)

Unfortunately, my poor handblenders are my babies until they die :( I get every one of them at the goodwill on the half price day (usually for about $5) As far as molds go, you can make your own! There are a lot of tutorials on the web...my first molds were milk cartons until I built my own mold using a 2x4. It was pretty easy!!! Most of my older supplies are packed away in storage but I will see what I have. You can email me if you would like and I can give you some hints on how to get started :)
Good luck!

Just a quick note. As an herbalist. Angelica Herb, has photosensitive reaction when used. For 24 hours after use, you cannot be in direct sunlight. You can get seriously burned, experience fainting and dizziness. So please be careful.

Thank you for that important info. So many people think herbs and essential oils are completely safe when some can be pretty scary :) That being said, the Angelica soap is a fragrance (angel by thierry mugler dupe). No herbs in that one :)

you're welcome. keep in mind most essential oils are made from the herbal essences. be safe.

Thank you again. I do know my way around herbs and essential oils, I have been practicing for over 10 years and been around the use of natural remedies my whole life :) I do not use anything that 1) I do not understand completely and 2) that are unsafe.

For everyone out there: Please never never buy an herbal based or "natural" claimed product from someone who doesn't know that EO's come from herbs.
