no it doesnt cost a stamp. it wouldnt fit through the machine that the post office uses for letters. therefor the shipping would be higher...why dont you do some research before commenting like that and sounding ignorant..
it would fit. I send letter envelopes filled with jewelry and the buyer always received their items. you should have no problem mailing this out in an envelope.
i only use priority. i do use a regular envelope however i send it priority and i bubble wrap the jewerly. i pay for tracking and insurance on everything i ship to make sure there are no problems.
I have received from Listia several items of jewelry of various sizes with just an envelope - you just clearly write on the envelope - "FRAGILE" " Do Not Run Through Machine" < and package it inside safely : )
well i dont ship like that. i only ship priority its worth it to spend an extra few dollars to make sure nothing is damaged and that the item gets to its destination with a tracking number and that there is insurance on the item just incase of a problem.
I agree with not putting in standard envelope. The lister is correct. Good luck in your auction! Shipped in a bubble mailer w/ tracking etc.. is safer secure and you the winner and the lister are protected
