High-density memory will not work in most standard computers. It will only work in a handful of specialized servers... not something a home user can use.

That's an overstatement. There are plenty of motherboards which support it, they are simply not the kind which are commonly used in brands like Dell, HP, etc.

What makes you think this is HD ram? HD ram usually has more, smaller ram chips. 8 chips per side is most commonly low density ram. High density ram usually has 16 chips per side. Does it say 64Mx8 or 128Mx8?

@shortstuff31930 what makes me think this is that is what the vendor told me when I reported to him that it did not work. I checked his listing (eBay) and that's also what he had it listed as. This does not make it so, necessarily, but both you and Rastorma have done a lot to keep this auction at 1 F*ING CREDIT instead of helping me. You could have at least provided informational links.
