Hi, Savanah1017! It's hard to answer that because it would be based upon how easily your hair will curl. I can tell you that it is among the most powerful available. I just tested it. It has a digital read-out and heats VERY quickly up to 410 degrees. The ceramic finish is VERY smooth which has a smoothing effect on your hair. I haven't used it because I actually have another identical one that works for me very well. I have very coarse, textured, curly hair. Hope this helps....
