The listing, Wireless Adapter has ended.

This is a working adapter. it is about the size of a credit card but thicker. I have the install files for it, but they are not on a disc so I will have to email them to the winner.

well why dont you burn the files to a cd so you can ship it all together and will this hook up to a linksystem wifi box and how far does it go

I don't have the means to burn to a cd that is why. But, I have the files and can email them or the winner can go online and download them. I don't know what a linksystem is. And we were able to get reception to go online from accross the street from us....so maybe 50 yards away.

Is this a Qwest wireless adapter...???!!!!
I just bougth one here on Listia and still trying to get the "drives" to make it work.
Customer service at Qwest just sucks....!!!!!
It will be nice if you could burn the drives to a CD and include it on your item, so nobody has to go trough the hassle that I am going trough.....!!!!!

This is not qwest, it is 2wire. It will work on any computer in range of a wireless router. You plug it into a usb on your computer and it recieves information from a wireless router and feeds it to your computer so you can get online wirelessly. I have the drivers, they are being emailed to winner since I haven't got a way to burn them to disc right now......so, there will be no waiting on the drivers and no messing with qwest.....I can't begin to stand Qwest....they are just idiot's. I lived in Utah and had them out there.....always had problems.....went to aol instead....not much better with all the dang bugs, but whatever works right?....LOL.

No, it doesn't detach, but It can be popped out of it's socket if you need it to stretch a little further. Mainly it can be moved back and forth to aid in reception. Thanks for asking.
