The listing, The Memory Keeper's Daughter has ended.

This novel begins on a winter night in 1964 when a blizzard forces Dr. David Henry to deliver his own twins. His son first born is perfectly healthy but the doctor immediately recognizes that his daughter has Down's syndrome. He asks his nurse to take the baby girl to an institution and tells his wife that she died. The nurse instead disappears with the baby and raises her as her own.
I found this book and the movie very interesting because I have a child with Downs. Used paperback.
