If it was a fake PSA wouldn't have graded it. They would have sent it back with a sticker on it questioning it's validity. I know because I sent a 1985 Topps McGwire in to be graded 15 years ago and they didn't grade it because they thought it was fake.

I believe this card is not genuine. Look at it closely and see if any of this applies. Fake McGwire Modesto cards have a print spot on his chest and real cards have a print spot under the A on his uniform. Real McGwire cards have a lump on the top of the letter m in the word Modesto the fakes do not. You can see both corners on the third stripe on his right arm on real cards The fake cards third stripe is smaller. Also the fake/reprint cards are not regular card stock. It's a smaller mil cardboard. The original card from the Modesto set was also darker in color.

I got this card out of a box i bought at walmart, so it is real, unless walmart sells fakes....it has a barcode you can take it to psa and see for yourself... thanks for your negative comment..... it has a psa authentication on it sir....

this is an authentic card, i got it out of a box of cards from walmart, so how do you figure its a fake? i think your lookin at the card with the INCORRECT SPELLING, mine is the correct spelling sir, you left a negative comment on mine for no reason, but the incorrect spelling has everything you said, now go look at the correct spelling cards, they are the same as i have....after you go look maybe you can go CORRECT YOUR NEGATIVE COMMENT ON MY AUCTION... next time please message me with your concerns @ rick364
