This auction is for 4' of (80/20) ( "Sterling Filled") wire!
"Sterling Filled" is an "OXYMORON" or a name that is opposite of what it really is!

Silver Filled wire is 20% sterling silver wire with a base metal core in the center. It is made with a copper (or sometimes white brass) core center to give it strength and firmness when work hardened.
I offer this SF wire for this ring project because pure Sterling Silver is VERY SOFT and even when it is work hardened, it does not form the strongest and most stable ring bases. (without the base core)

This wire is dead soft, and A Beautiful, soft, real silver color- see photo.

#3. Keep tarnish off real silver and gold beads (or even plated) and your jewelry by storing it in with a broken piece of plain white chalk, in an airtight zip bag! (no fooling)
