The Blood of Innocents
The True Story of Multiple Murder in West Memphis, Arkansas
Six small town kids. Three came out to play. Three came out to kill.
On the evening of May 5, 1993, Cob Scouts Christopher Byers, Steve Branch, and Michael Moore rode their bikes into the deep woods of Robin Hood Hills in West Memphis. Before dawn, all three would be dead--horribly slain after a night of torture and muitlation. When the bodies were discovered in a shallow creek running through the forest, there was only one question on everyone's lips: What monsterss could have committed such an unspeakable crime against three innocent eight-year-old boys?
Widespread rumors of psychopathic strangers, serial killers and Satanic cults fueled the small-town hysteria. But the actual identity of the murderers would prove as shocking as the crime itself. Jessie Lloyd Misskelley Jr., 17, Charles Jason Baldwin, 16, and Damien Wayne Echols, 18, were not only members of the community- they were hardly more than children themselves.
What really happened in Robin Hood Hills? What dark forces drove the killers to prey upon three young boys? Can we ever know for sure? Find out in The Blood Of Innocents. Written by the investigative team that covered the story as it was breaking, here is the dramatic, in-depth account of a savage crime America will never forget.
Good used condition. Won on Listia, already read, so decided to list it here.

There is still so much controversy in this case. Good book and the case may be reopened.
