To be honest, I just don't know anything about working this player. I purchased it on eBay new from overseas. I put music on it. Listened to it for about a week & my husband bought me an iPod & I haven't touched it since until I plugged it in tonight to delete off what music I have on it & I can't figure out how to delete it off so whoever wins it will need to know more than I do. ha ha The instructions don't tell much. It is an 8GB so it holds a fairly large number of music. Other functions it has is it holds video, photos, e-books, FM radio, & it has a digital recorder or at least that's what is listed on the manual. I haven't done anything with it other than, like I said, put music on it. It comes with a headset, a CD but you don't have to have it to put music on, & it has a travel charger. It's one that will plug into your computer or you can plug it into the wall to charge by plugging the computer cable into the travel charger. It's a really pretty color. Maybe someone will have better luck at it than me. Like I said, I do not know much about it. I just have an iPod now & it's just been laying on my dresser going to waste.

do u know how many songs it can hold?

I looked on Yahoo Answers & on ChaCha & both say an 8gb player holds about 2,000 songs depending on how large/long the songs are. When I put music on it, I didn't fill it up so I don't know for sure & it doesn't say on the booklet with it. This is just what I found online. Should be accurate.

Hell, if one knocks the quality from "CD" to around "cassette", it doesn't such too bad & you can fit about 1/3rd more music. I could easily fit over 3,200 songs (at 4minutes each) on this baby.

I have learned that by syncing it with Windows Media Player you can delete off songs & add them from there. I added them by copying & pasting straight to the music folder when I put them on. So, now that I learned that, I have been able to clear it back to default with no songs on it. I listened to what music I had on there beforehand to make sure it was still playing & the songs were playing fine. Should just be able to sync it & add your own songs from Windows Media Player.

Are you sure this works?Have you hooked it up to your computer and loaded anything on to it??Purchasing anything from Japan or China is a risky venture.I just want to be sure it works BEFORE I bid.I mean no disrespect to you.

As I said in my description, I bought it, hooked it up to my computer, put music on it, listened to it, & then got an iPod so I didn't touch it anymore until I got it out & decided to get rid of it 'cause it's just sitting there & I went to delete off the music I placed on there & I have been unable to delete any of it for some reason. I don't know anything about it. It has a pamphlet with it, but I can't make any sense out of it. That's why I made sure to put I don't know anything about it & someone would have to know more than I do. No disrespect.

WOW really? I'm a music addict. 200 is nowhere enough for me. I have about 800 on my iPod right now. Still can think of plenty more plus always new songs coming out that I like. lol

8 gigs can hold-up to 2,000 songs, up to 7,000 photos, up to 8 hours of video, or some of each.

There is a sticker that says 8 gb/FM & another sticker that says QC pass I guess meaning Quality Control pass. That's it I promise you. No brand name on the case, the player, or the instructions. No clue. It came from Japan so who knows.
