Hi there. You are outbid if a person has already entered a maximum bid that is higher than the one you entered ... it's sort of like auto bid. To become the highest bidder you must enter a bid that is higher than the maximum bid already pending. The trick is you don't know how high that is so you have to keep bidding in increments.
