Can you explain to me why you would want to do a GIN instead of just bidding? I really get confused by this & what would your GIN offer be?

I can try and explain why i would, I would like this movie, and may not be around near the end of auction, so instead the seller can opt to put a GIN get it now. price, I would probably offer in the 2000-2200 credits range it will cost 50 credits that will be refunded at end of auction and 10% fee, I hope I have explanined right
