When I received this ring the retail value was $800. I have used it and it's time to give it away. It really isn't my style and it just sits it my cabinet. It deserves a better life. Unfortunately when I was looking it over to write a description I noticed a stone missing. It isn't obvious unless you look close- it blends in. I'm not sure if that immediately throws it into scrap category but anyone who sees you wearing it won't notice unless they have eagle eyes.

This gorgeous and eye catching ring still looks new, shiny and clean. It features a large amethyst (clean, clear, oval cut) surrounded by 10 accent amethysts that vary ever so slightly in color for a total carat weight of 10.15 The amethyst is a purple but not dark color. Stock photo is a good representation (pic w/ price tag) it weighs approx. 5.4g

The solid 10K band is on the large size of a 7. It can be resized. It's stamped "10K"

Upon close inspection there are a few minor scratches on the band, a tiny bit of residue on two or three of the decorative loops around the edge of the main amethyst that wouldn't rub off and a missing stone. The scratches and residue are hard to see but I want to let you know ahead of time what you will see when you check it out. These flaws will be difficult for anyone admiring your new piece to notice.

I didn't pay to have this ring appraised/certified. Because I am giving it away I'm not going to spend a big chunk of change to do it.
