I just started skimming thru items & this ring caught my attention IMMEDIATLEY !!! :) I adore this beautiful piece. It actually reminds me so much of a ring my Great-Grandmother who was 100% Italian wore all the time!

A little confused by your only side photo of the amber. The design looks to be under a covering of some sort, and not intaglio. Would you be able to post another photo showing the intaglio surface? Thanks. Watching. :-)

The only side photo lovie is just to show the height of the ring is all. And yes the design in under a clear covering, of what it consists of I do not know.

As far as the Intaglio, again, I go by my invoices and my description stands, in my defination #2 is a perfect description of this ring...ornamentation with a figure or design sunk below the surface.

I would love to post more photos for you but I am unfortunately out of town and do not have my camera and USB Cable with me.

Yes Intaglio is simply gorgeous, I have a ring almost but not quite this big that I just adore. Some Intaglio come in the most beautiful colors and creations, they simply are amazing!
