Questions & Comments
They look like coasters...I could be wrong, but my Grandma had some and that's what we used them for :)
I'm voting with the "coasters" group, but I am guessing maybe they are aluminum. When I was a kid, we had aluminum drinking glasses and pitcher and coasters similar to these and the cups and the coasters seemed to be made of the same metal. As you can guess, I am in the "older" category myself. LOL
This is part of an aluminum serving dish set. I just sold the duck tray with matching 7" X 5" individual rectangle plates. I did not have the coaster to go with. Good Luck, nice auction.
Hello swise100, I've seen these before, when I was growing up. They are for sure, made of aluminum, and therefore lightweight; and yes, they are coasters that go under the glass that you are drinking your sweet iced tea from. Also as sort of indicated above, they are vintage.
My mom my actually love these. They match her copper jello molds that she has in her kitchen. I am definitely going to keep watching and possibly make a bid
I dont really know. I would say a silver color metal. THEY ARE NOT SILVER THOUGH WANT TO MAKE THAT CLEAR. I really just dont know and cant afford to find out. :)
