This is a very unusual piece. Took it to my jeweler yesterday for him to look at. He doesn't think it's gold, but it is not magnetic.Jeweler is baffled LOL. Told me I should take it to an antique dealer. But maybe someone on here knows something about this particular piece. If it was brass he said it would be magnetic. He guesses it is from early 1900's. Each bead was hand 'crimped' to chain. A lot of work went into this one, that's for sure. It measures aprox. 44 inches.Unusual necklace is in the Jewelry & Watches | Necklaces category
