Nope, that's only the newer ones. This one relies on good old fashioned AA batteries.

Yeah I never did anything to it other than play it, I don't know anything about rarity, all I know is it was fun as heck when I was a kid

oh no it was released yellow but also in gray so its legit. Gray is more rare than yellow one

you have the limited edition game boy color as you can see with the pickahyuis on the sides. What concerns me is why is it not yellow since the pickahus were mainly relased on the yellow gameboys.
