first off these are close if not over 100 years old. pure silver. really cool for collectors.

Hi Rosie, welcome to Listia.
May I mention that "Silverplate" is quite a distance from pure silver...and although these forks are very nice collectables, they are clearly not true antiques. I can research the marks and patterns if you like. Also, the mark that "almost" reads 'sterling'...would not have been written in that style for that period of a flatware item. Just in case that was what you thought meant 'pure silver.'

Anybody collecting these knows there not pure silver besides they are free what more do you want a book written on them geez the are hard to find when I do find them at the thrift store I snag them up
