these items do everything wifi boxes do and more and does it with no wires. u just hv to dwnld app in ur smartphone or smart tv to setup to your wifi network ..turns your hdmi tv into a smart tv..

watching, don't know why that person is saying it is for computers, it is not for computers! It is for TVs, it turns a regular HDTV into a smart TV where you can access lots of stuff on the internet. My daughter has a roku and her friend has a chromecast and says she likes it a lot.

Re Jsandow35's comments. NOTE: WHAT YOU SEE IN THE PICTURE IS WHAT YOU GET. No software came with the device, but I did use the s/w online (google.com/chromecast/setup). It worked for me.

some of the apps like netflix..yes u hvto hv a account to use that feature...but it is wireless and works 100 times btr than those streaming media boxes
