Vault: Def Leppard Greatest Hits (1980-1995) is the first compilation album for the British hard rock band Def Leppard, released in 1995. It includes 15 of their most successful singles around the world, commemorated on the 15th anniversary of the release of their debut.The album charted at #15 on The Billboard 200[1] and #3 on the UK Albums Chart

Vault was a major success all around the world, including the United States, where the compilation reached the Top 15 and sold a million units within the year. Over the next decade Vault would become a very popular catalog album in America, even hitting the top of that particular chart several times before being deleted in 2005 (to make way for an updated version in Rock of Ages: The Definitive Collection). Vault has sold almost 11 million copies worldwide with over 5 million being in the U.S. alone. Although the album is no longer in print, the first disc of Rock of Ages is essentially the American release of Vault with two additional tracks added, down to the very track sequence. As of 2007, Vault seems to still be in print in the United States after all with its continual sales of thousands per week
