Please read entire description. I am going to try and be very clear:
1st Generation Apple iPad, 64GB up for auction. This ipad has a faulty battery. The iPad will not charge past 2%, no matter how long it is on the charger. Once connected to charger, iPad will start up and work fine, including going online (see pics of me on the Listia site just this last Saturday. Though the unit works when kept plugged in, iPad will shut off unexpectedly and has to be restarted. There are no sratches, cracks, or any other marks on the unit. I tried to get clear pics so please look carefully. Please Google specs if you want to know more. This is a 1ST GENERATION, very 1st Apple iPad model. I took a pic of what IOS it is running. At some point, I believe it had cellular data from AT&T. I have it in a black rubber Apple case. Auction is for iPad and case only, no charger!
Shipping is FREE in the U.S. only, International will have to pay exact through paypal ONLY. I will not lower days, it is only a 10 day auction anyway. Listia verified addresses only. It is starting to detach. It's an old cord but it's the only one I have. The other one I use for my iPhone so I cannot include it. You can get a new 16 pin charger for cheap or off Listia for free! I'll see about getting the winner a brand new cord as a thank you!

Yes, and I explained before that that was an accident. So.... I was just trying to make it an interesting auction. You can buy this iPad off Amazon for $550. The camera can be purchased off Amazon for $79. The coach wallet retailed at $78. The VS products are worth $30. Plus $10 off your meal at Yard House. So I see that this does not add up to 800 plus dollars but these are CREDITS and I'm giving this stuff away for free and paying to ship it. There are lots of people who do not have $$ and just have credits! So please bid!

Hi have you tried using a different charger on the iPad I had a problem like this with my iPhone before and it turned out the charger was bad you should see if the different charger willl charge it past 2% just a thought good luck on your auction

I only used my phone charger on it. I'm sure my charger is fine, it works on my phone but maybe you are right. I'll let the winner know.

Yes I know you can. I did take it to Best Buy and the Mobile Fix Center and they both said it could be done. However, I got a Samsung Galaxy tablet for Christmas and don't want to spend the money to fix it.

They are both good! I love the Galaxy but the iPad was equally good. I recommend getting whatever you have running on your phone, either Android or iOS
