The listing, HP Photosmart M425 Camera w/SD card has ended.

I won this off Listia from the great seller Natahoa and it's been a great camera! However I just bought myself a new one with my tax money so thought I'd pass this great one onto my fellow Listians :)

It takes great close-up pics of jewelry among many other things and even does great video clips. Here are a few of the specs:

* 5 MP resolution for poster-sized prints and 3x digital zoom
* Large 1.7-inch display
* 16 MB internal memory w/ SD/MMC card slot
* Picture modes: Auto (default), action, beach and snow, burst, fast shot, landscape, macro, night portrait, portrait, self timer, sunset

This auction is for the camera only and 128mb SD card. I do not have the usb cord or software but you can download that for free off the HP website. Body of camera has some scratches but LCD is perfect.

Power source? Rechargeable internal or AA/AAA?

2 AA Batteries, you can buy your own rechargeable batteries also in AA which will work.

All I can find is that it's got 3x optical zoom on it, hope that helps.

It is a wonderful camera I only am getting rid of it because I bought a new one. Takes real good close-ups of jewelry which is why I liked it so much.Has a ton of life left in it.

I'm away from home and my internet is not working, so I might not be online again for a while, but I'd love to know what camera you got. I still love my Canon A540 the best for Listia photos, but I also have a Canon S1 (I think) that is a really, really nice camera.

Thanks Nancy! I probably won't get lucky to get back what I paid in credits but it was well worth the 14000...got lot's of good use out of it. I went ahead and bought another camera, nothing fancy really but it's a Fuji Finepix S700. My son is the local 8th grade "band star" lol...so I got this one because it takes great video. Had his first solo a couple weeks ago and used the Hp which did a great job but this other one zooms in and everything. Hope your doing well, it was great to hear from you!

Any idea the most this SD can handle? And does this record SOUND?

yes it records sound but doesn't play sound on the camera, once you upload the video to your computer you can hear it. The SD card is 128mb, not sure how much that holds. You can google it to find out more on that.

Have a new fan! I just bought a new one also with my money ;-) Just watching this one for my 14yo son. He really wants mine, but LOL, thats not happening! I told him I paid enough for his IPhone(that has a camera) and that he could just use that for now! I'm going to wait and watch this one and see how high the bids go! Good luck hun!!

I looked it up & the web says "64mb to 2gb". 2gb ... now we're talkin'! :-)
