Questions & Comments
Do you do well auctioning off your wheat backs? I have hundreds, I will fan you and keep an eye out for coins I like. Could you please tell me what wheat backs are the most sought after. Thank you and I hope you don't mind my asking you for advice, I would never post the same auction during yours and especially would not mention it on your listing. Thanks. Nikki
Hi!:) I have been reading a bit about them, some are VERY valuable! VDBs,in 1943 they were made of steel because of the war, I had a lot and my Grams gave me some more,They go from 1909-1958, I'm filling in blank spots myself!:) so I will watch yours too! I will find out the VDB years.I would sort them and try a few you have multiples of keep the oldest ones seperate, they are harder to find. I saw that you had Princess Diana stamps... I want them:) I also have lots of stamps! I will pass on what I learn about the pennies... thanks for the E-mail I hope I helped! nice to have someone to chat with:) Sarah
I just found this list...1909 small "s" below date vdb (victor david brenner) on the back at the bottom, between the stems of the ears of wheat 1909s,1914d,1922 no d,1931s,1943 bronze/copper no mint,d,or s they were a mistake,1944 steel pennies also a mistake,1955 double die,or double stamped (these are the most valuable ones:)
