Actually i should say newer wallets i beleave do have them. I dont think older ones just like older bags dont all have them. But can u plz show it ,if its got it....lol

But after the 80s most had a code in them. To show the employee what bag they had. It isnt a actual authenticate no. But it does sometimes help to make us feel better if we see it. Im not great when it comes to info on LV but you can look it up on ebays LV authenticate site.

I Did have do some research on This. I couldn't find a date code, but I read that it can be difficult to find on the wallets. I will check out the eBay authentication site and see what it says. I don't want to say it's authentic if it isn't..

so after reading the eBay page, everything seems in place, the stitching, thread color, the symmetric size of the wallet. the LV on one side is upside down because it's wrapped around. the only thing is no code. frustration.

the date code can be found by a seam inside the wallet; not where the CC slots are; one can tell by the type interior that it was made in the late 90's if authentic.

I have a LV wallet (epi) and there are no numbers whatsoever in the wallet.. I purchased it myself from the store on Michigan Ave in Chicago.

Wow! I dumped my whole wallet.. Couldn't find it.. Looked twice.. Then I noticed it..Completely hidden.. Had to actually peel over the "paper money pocket" Embossed in silver a series of letters and numbers.. Is that the "date code"
