Description
The listing, "I Taught Myself to Crochet Book" by Boye has ended.
This book taught me how to crochet and crochet well in about 3 weeks. Its AWESOME. Teaches basic stitches, how to hold your needle and has 16 beginner projects. (I've made12 of them) Trust me when I say this book works wonders. I'd always wanted to learn how to crochet (my mom has crocheted for 20+ years) and this book taught me in 3 weeks. So if u wanna learn or know someone who does this is for you! <3
I've had this book for a month. (Since Christmas) so it is like new. no tears or visible damage anywhere.
~~~< GIN BONUS>~~~
If GIN is used I will throw in a brand new crochet hook. Size H, Brand New In Package.
Questions & Comments
Very nice! I am interested in this as my mom once crocheted a bedspread for my 17th birthday. It's one of my most treasured possessions! I've never learned how to crochet, however, but would love to learn as it seems a wonderful relaxing hobby. I'm brand new to Listia and I was just wondering as to your reference to something called GIN. Not sure what this is...could you kindly explain? :-) So far, I've found Listia to be a very positive experience, and everyone I've interacted with has been extremely kind. Thanks for sharing your book :-)
Welcome to Listia! :) GIN simply means that if you wanted to skip waiting for the auction to end you could just Get It Now if you had the credits it called for. I usually offer something special if someone wants to use the GIN as an added incentive. But the auction is always fun as well and I meet so many people along the way. Crocheting is awesome. And you are absolutely correct it is a very relaxing hobby and very rewarding. Ive made many things in the month Ive been doing this and I don't think I've kept one! LOL Its very easy to learn and I bet your mom would be super proud of you if you learned. My mom also made me a bedspread long ago. Good luck! Any other questions just let me know. :)
Check YouTube, also, for crochet tutorials. Even if you have a good book, sometimes you need to SEE what they are talking about. There are tutorials out there for virtually every crochet stitch plus one of my favorite techniques - the magic circle.
No problem. :) if you ever decide to learn even if you dont win lemme know. ive got tons of sites with free patterns and i can link you some of my favorites. :)
