This is a very interesting book. It was written before antibiotics so the section on 'doctoring' is very interesting. The section on 'etiquette' is also interesting as one of the 'proper' actions is that after a woman sends out her wedding invitations she is not seen in public till the wedding date. This is a book of 512 pages, and many illustrations. This is also written before the invention of cars. Another interesting section deals with the number of deaths attributed to trains! I am sure you will find this book very interesting!
The binding is loose. There is writing on the inside first page and after that I do not see any writing. The edges and spine are worn.
I would put the date of this book as 1894. The last president mentioned is Grover Cleveland elected 1893. 1892 was that last date a number was given for railway deaths and injuries. I have put a lot of pictures up of interesting pictures and paragraphs. THis book weighs over 3 lbs and chock full of information!
