Up for your consideration is a Pioneer External CD-DVD-RW Drive. My husband bought this for me when my laptop's drive broke. It allowed me to connect this to my computer with the included USB cord and then watch DVDs, listen to CDs, use disc-based software or games, copy and write to blank disks, pretty much anything I could do with the original internal drive. We have bought me a new laptop, so I don't need this anymore. I am hoping that it will help another Listian who is in need of a good drive replacement for their laptop or Desktop.

My hubby is Australian and I know that shipping items to his family is always very expensive and a takes a lot of research in relation to what is allowed and what is not allowed in the country. F&w&b sinners an extra drive for my desktop, is there software you need to install? I might have missed that information. Or do you just plug it in and your computer will recognize it?
